Hailed as one of the most diverse line-ups to date, the Festival Program boasts everything from the world premiere of a new ballet to an adults-only, tongue-in-cheek acrobatic burlesque show.
For the families, there’s the Circus Wonderland in the Wonderland Spiegeltent, the return of DBCT Illuminate and the Caneland Central Lunchbox Concerts.
Throw in dynamite guest comedian, the hilarious Dave Thornton, and the laugh-out-loud antics of “swing man” Damian Callinan, and your funny bone will definitely be tickled.
For music lovers, both stages of the ever-popular G&S Engineering Wine and Food Day will come alive with a variety of exciting local musicians and interstate acts like Golden Guitar finalist Casey Barnes, the Redtie Band, Soul Republic, The Fergies, Jamie MacDowell and Tom Thum and Benny Nelson. For those after more soothing sounds, the Friends of the MECC Jazz Brunch is sure to be a sell-out and will feature Melbourne-based band Jazz and the Silver Screen.
This year’s Festival also includes an extensive Fringe Events Program that showcases exciting events right across the region.
